JellyAmp 3. Our new major update! Audiobooks: JellyAmp now plays your audiobooks. Connect an Audiobookshelf server alongside your Jellyfin music and your library comes with you. • Audiobookshelf support. Add your server in Settings and a new Audiobooks section appears in your Library. Your music stays exactly as it was. • A player built for listening: chapters, playback speed from 0.75x to 2x, skip back 15s or forward 30s, and a sleep timer (by minutes or end of chapter). • Pick up anywhere. Your place syncs to your server as you listen, so a book you started on your Mac continues right where you left off on your iPhone. • Continue Listening. Jump back into your current book straight from the Home screen. • Offline downloads. Save books to your iPhone or iPad for listening without a connection. • CarPlay. When an Audiobookshelf server is connected, an Audiobooks tab joins your library so you can browse and play on the road. • Apple Watch. The watch app is a companion for audiobooks: browse your books and control playback running on your iPhone. Audiobooks can't be downloaded to the watch (due to the limited watch storage), so playback happens on your phone. Your music experience is untouched. Surprise Me, On Repeat, and Mixes stay music only. Audiobooks are a completely separate, optional add-on. All-new Mac app: JellyAmp is now on the Mac as a true native app, built for macOS from the ground up. A real desktop music player with a sidebar library, keyboard shortcuts, and the look and feel of a Mac app. It's included with your existing purchase, so just open the App Store on your Mac and download JellyAmp. Apple Watch improvements: This update is all about making JellyAmp better on your wrist. • Scrolling fixed: the Now Playing screen no longer skips around in the song when you scroll with your finger. Seeking now requires a deliberate sideways drag. • Digital Crown volume: tap the new Volume button in Now Playing and turn the crown to adjust volume precisely. What's new in 1.7 • JellyAmp now works with Jellyfin servers accessed over Tailscale. (i.e http://host.tail16cit1.ts.net:8096) • Reminder: your server's firewall needs to allow inbound traffic on port 8096 for the app to reach it.

JellyAmp 1.6 • HTTP server support: connect to self-hosted Jellyfin servers that run over plain HTTP (typical for home/LAN setups). You'll see a small warning so you know the connection isn't encrypted, but the choice is yours. • Clearer Server URL field: an inline note now appears when you enter an http:// address, so there's no guessing about what will happen on Connect. • Under-the-hood improvements: refinements to networking, stability, and overall polish for a smoother playback experience.

What's New in 1.5 • Fixed Apple Watch playback so tapping a new song or the skip button actually switches tracks. No more being stuck on the first one you pressed. • Downloads on iPhone are now dramatically faster and far more reliable. Large files (especially FLAC) no longer stall out or get saved as broken files. • Downloaded songs now play back correctly every time, including tracks that had previously failed silently. • The watch no longer loses local playback when your iPhone is sitting paused in your pocket. • Downloaded songs now play immediately even after losing connection.
