Your Health Data. Your AI. Your API. Ask ChatGPT, Claude or other AI apps about your own Apple Health data: how you slept this week, whether your resting heart rate is trending down, how this month's training compares to last. The AI app reads your real numbers to answer. Add HealthAPI as a connector in Claude or ChatGPT, then approve the connection right here on your iPhone: scan the QR code, tap the link, or type the 6-character code. There's no key to copy, the AI app gets read-only access, and you can disconnect it anytime in Settings > Connected apps. Claude works on every plan, including Free. ChatGPT connection requires a compatible ChatGPT plan and supported connector access. Setup and availability vary by plan. Building something yourself? The same data is available from a private REST API with your personal key, ready for scripts, automations, spreadsheets and dashboards. WHAT YOU GET • A private sync of the Apple Health data you choose: activity and energy, heart and vitals, sleep, workouts, body measurements, mobility, nutrition and more. • A connector for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps that support MCP connectors, approved on your iPhone. • Daily and weekly summaries, ready to read: steps, active energy, resting heart rate, sleep hours and workout totals. • Trends for a single metric over up to a year, and raw samples when you need every reading. • An in-app dashboard with charts, so your data is useful before you connect anything. • Your own API key for scripts and developer tools, with a Share button that sends your setup to whichever AI agent you use. BUILT AROUND YOUR CONTROL • You choose which categories sync, and Apple Health asks your permission first. • HealthAPI reads Apple Health. It never writes to it. • Only the AI apps you approve on your iPhone, and the tools you give your API key, can read your synced data. The app never sends it to anyone else on its own. • Disconnect AI apps individually in Settings > Connected apps. Regenerate your API key to revoke access for tools using that key. • Export your data or delete your account from Settings. A deleted account can be restored for 30 days, then its health data is permanently erased. • We never sell your health data, share it with advertisers, or use it to train AI models. This update helps us keep HealthAPI running smoothly. The app can now share crash reports and basic usage with us, so we can spot and fix issues faster. Your health data is never included, and you can turn this off anytime in Settings > Data & Privacy. Plus small fixes and improvements.
