Super Sound…but the latency

Such a great app. May be a little to much functions for my needs….I just want to plug my guitar to an interface an play NAM A2 captures. And man…that little app does that so great. No difference to a MacBook. They even have integrated the UI of the NAM-Player from the Mac. Supercool….But…..there is audible latency. Even when set to the minimum value of 32 mSecs. Not brutal..but audible….If this could be fixed…..Six stars ;-) For the features I would give five stars. For the sound anyway…but as mentioned…the latency…kills me… By the way….other software like TONEX does not have any audible latency on my iPad in the same setup….so I think it should be able to fix that….Update: the developer fixed the latency issues! Now this App is just perfect. In the iPad version it even has the interface of the NAM player of the Mac. Great!

I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the app and that the sound quality is meeting your expectations.Regarding the latency, I recently made some changes to the audio engine and tested the latest version using the RTL Utility with a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 (4th Gen). I measured a round-trip latency of 24.2 ms. To my ears it sounded pretty instant.Would you mind trying the latest version? If you're still experiencing audible latency, please send me an email with your iPad model, audio interface, and iPadOS version. That will help me investigate whether there's something specific to your setup that I can optimize.Thanks again for taking the time to leave your feedback—it really helps improve the app!
