Parchment is a private daily journal that brings your writing, plans, calendar, and reminders together in one quiet place. It uses Apple's Reminders and the system calendar to bring your task and events together.

Die App ist in drei Bereiche unterteilt: auf der linken Seite alle Einträge für den laufenden Tag, die nicht mit einer Uhrzeit verknüpft sind, und zwar unabhängig davon, ob sie im Kalender oder in den Erinnerungen sind, auf der rechten Seite alle Einträge aus Kalender und Erinnerungen mit einer Uhrzeit und im unteren Bereich Platz für Notizen, getippt oder handschriftlich. Die Größe des oberen Bereichs richtet sich nach der Anzahl der Einträge. Die Notizen können beliebig exportiert werden. Die Synchronisierung mit Kalender und Erinnerungen erfolgt sekundenaktuell. Erfreulicherweise wird kein gesonderter Kalender eingerichtet, sondern die Apps von Apple werden verwendet; man verlässt also das Apple – Ökosystem nicht. Die App ist erst seit kurzem auf dem Markt, es gab aber schon – Stand 26. Juli 2026 – zwei Updates, die erhebliche Verbesserungen mit sich gebracht haben. Die Arbeitsleistung des Entwicklers ist bemerkenswert und neugierig auf das, was noch kommt. Der Preis ist absolut gerechtfertigt.

Annähernd perfekt für mich! Übersichtlich, keine neue Kalenderapp, sondern ich kann reminder, Kalender etc. Wie üblich verwalten, habe aber hier eine andere Übersicht + meine Notizen über den Tag hinweg.

Absolutely loving this app so far. It has already become part of my daily routine, and it’s one of those rare apps that feels genuinely well thought out. Even though I have a couple of feature requests, it’s still an easy 5/5 for me.I have two quality-of-life suggestions that I think would make the experience even better:First, the date formatting. While I can choose a different format (for me, my preferred format would be DD/MM/YYYY), I have to give up seeing the weekday if I want this formatting of the date. I would appreciate it if the weekday were a separate toggle in the settings rather than tied to a specific date format so users could select both their preferred date formatting and whether the weekday is displayed.Second, I’d love a setting for the “Yesterday” tab. I can see myself using this app heavily for work, and on Mondays I’d much rather see the previous Friday instead of Sunday. An optional setting that makes “Yesterday” jump to the last workday (maybe we can even select which day we want this day to be) would make it much easier to pick up where I left off at the end of the previous workweek. I know I can manually go back with the calendar view, so this is really just a small QOL thing.Neither of these is a dealbreaker, tho! They’re just ideas that I think would make an already fantastic app even better. Great work, and I’m excited to see how the app evolves!

I really enjoy using it as it fits very well into my work setup and helps me supplement my paper notebook and Apple-Reminder-Calendar combination quite well. Sometimes the sync seems to be very buggy and the written text gets doubled, tripled or quadrupled in various states from the day, especially when editing the note part on multiple machines.Even without the note part it would be worth it to me for the widgets alone. I used to put calendar and reminders into a widget stack but having both at a glance is so much more useful.
