It’s very similar to Duolingo UI&UX-wise but focuses solely on Gaelic which makes it much better for that specific purpose, I’m super surprised that the pronouciation of words with Duo was so inaccurate sometimes. On thing that really annoys me though, is the grammar correction in the simulated conversations. I’m supposed to say my respond out loud and it automatically recognises what I say, and the words are correct but the first letter of the sentence should be upper case and there’s a comma missing or something, which lead to the trainer correcting me twice for an already correct response. Turns the conversations that I think are super helpful and fun into very annoying repetition tasks.

It’s a playful way to learn Irish. Without any grammar explanation. Speak, remember, repeat. Maybe I didn’t see it yet but the flash cards should also be the other way, eng-gae
