Nach meinem Test der Habitica-App bin ich insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit ihrer Funktionalität und dem motivierenden Gamification-Ansatz. Die Verbindung von Aufgabenmanagement mit spielerischen Elementen funktioniert überzeugend und kann wirklich helfen, den Alltag produktiver zu gestalten. Allerdings sind mir zwei Aspekte aufgefallen, die noch optimiert werden könnten: Zum einen wirkt die Benutzeroberfläche recht unübersichtlich – gerade für neue Nutzer kann die Vielzahl an Funktionen und die komplexe Menüführung eine gewisse Einstiegshürde darstellen. Besonders die Abgrenzung zwischen „Gewohnheiten“, „täglichen Aufgaben“ und „To-Dos“ ist anfangs nicht ganz selbsterklärend. Eine klarere Struktur und bessere Einführung würden hier sicher weiterhelfen. Zum anderen kam es während meines Tests vereinzelt zu kleineren technischen Problemen, etwa Verzögerungen in der Reaktion der App. Auch ein Offline-Modus fehlt bislang, was die Nutzung unterwegs ohne stabile Verbindung etwas einschränkt.

Exzellente App aber...

Ich finde die App nahezu perfekt. Sie bindet dich mit Belohnungen an Gewohnheiten, die man immer bekommen oder loswerden wollte. Mir fehlt aber definitiv ein Offline-Modus. Klar wird dieser etwas eingeschränkt sein, aber nur um ein paar Dailies abzuhacken, braucht man wirklich keine Internetverbindung. Sonst absolut empfehlenswert! Ich gebe 5 Sterne wenn dee Offlinemodus kommt!

Egal, aus welchem Grund man sich die App holt - es hilft. Kleine Dinge, die zur Gewohnheit werden sollen (wie etwa genug trinken) oder große Ziele, die man sich setzt, Habitica liefert Motivation, das wirklich durchzuziehen. Man kann mit Freunden zusammen Aufgaben erledigen und durch viele verschiedene Möglichkeiten das System so nutzen, wie es zum Spieler selbst passt. Ob man gerne schnell levelt oder viele Belohnungen finden will, für jeden gibt es die passende Methode. btw der neue Dark Mode sieht super cool aus. Und die Community hilft sich gegenseitig.

Als ich mir die App runtergeladen habe, hat sie mir für einige Wochen sehr geholfen. Leider verlor ich persönlich irgendwann die Motivation die App zu öffnen, aber an sich wirklich eine große Hilfe gewesen! Ich würde mich auch freuen, wenn man vielleicht App intern einen Timer für ausgewählte Aufgaben starten könnte, sodass nach abgelaufener die Aufgabe erledigt ist, als extra Motivation sozusagen. Wenn man das als Option hätte, könnte man Aufgaben wie „10 min Aufräumen“ super umsetzen.

- Updated the visual design of checklists and fixed up a few bugs when expanding them
- Fixed the text shown when attempting to buy more Hatching Potions or Eggs than you need to accurately reflect the amount you're attempting to buy
- Fixed an issue that would highlight tasks other than the one you tapped
- Added support for custom servers. To reveal the advanced server selection options, logout and tap our gryphon logo 8 times. After revealing the selector, tap "Production" in the top right corner and switch to "Custom" to unlock the ability to type a custom server address in on the login screen. Custom servers do not share the same database as Habitica servers, meaning characters and logins do not carry over.
- Pets will bounce again when feeding them :)
