Welcome to InStep’s athlete health monitoring app, the app that helps you understand your functional movement and track injury recovery. InStep uses proprietary AI to help athletes build their unique movement fingerprint. From this athletes and team staff can create movement baselines, track injuries, measure recovery and empower players and clinicians to make data informed decisions about team health. Developed in collaboration with leading researchers, InStep is focused on keeping players on the pitch, healthier, and longer! The InStep app requires Apple AirPods to run. Here’s how it works: Personalized Health Baseline - Movement is the 6th vital sign, and the way that you move is unique to you. InStep helps you establish your unique movement baseline. By establishing a healthy baseline and understanding how this changes over time you have unparalleled insights into performance and recovery. Injury Log and Recovery Tracking - When you are injured you, or your team physio can log the injury in our app and use our platform to track recovery back to your healthy baseline. InStep empowers athletes and physios to actively manage injuries in a centralized platform and receive data driven insights into recovery and the efficacy of treatment. Static Balance Testing - InStep has a prebuilt static balance module that is an adaptation of the mBESS protocol. Static balance is a key metric for many neurological disorders and injuries (e.g. concussion) and by using InStep’s static balance module you receive data driven insights both on your balance while healthy and when injured. It is the perfect aid to existing health protocols for contact sports. Dynamic Balance Testing - Walking is the best passive system check out there. It’s the walk to work or the bus where you can get the best read on your overall system health. InStep’s walk module allows athletes to record their walk and establish their Movement Fingerprint through our proprietary AI so athletes and physios can monitor changes to movement as athletes progress through a season or return from an injury. Team Management - If you are a physio, clinician, or part of the team staff, often you will need to manage and make decisions across multiple players. InStep’s athlete management portal allows you to track and test all the athletes on your team from a centralized view on your own device.
