Still untrustworthy

Divine Music
I bought this about six to eight months ago and wrote my experience was that it’s pretty useless for serious musicians and DJ’s. The inventors keep on writing to me to say that they have updated and improved it and so I’ve decided to give it another try and: unfortunately it’s still a waste of time and money, it has improved very slightly but compared to Mixed in Key, completely untrustworthy.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment. Unfortunately right now offline key analysis is much more reliable than the more direct analysis that Key Detect makes. Key Detect can also be impacted by the level of the audio and any background noise, where as something like Mixed in Key will be able to analyze the digital file directly. We hope to constantly improve our algorithm for Key Detect so that it will be come more reliable in the future. Best regards,The Mixvibes Team

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. This version adds several improvements. Feel free to leave a review to let us know what you think and contact us at support@mixvibes.com if you encounter any issue. // Improvements and new features: - Continuous key analysis: start and stop analysis manually. - Suggested compatible keys are now displayed in real time. - Select a suggested key as the current key to display other compatible keys (when analysis is stopped). - Display previous key values while waiting for the next result (instead of "Sound calibration" message). - "C" is the default key when opening the app.
