Description
Maze Machina is a turn based swiping puzzler.
In Maze Machina you play as a tiny hero trapped by the evil Automatron in his ever-changing mechanical labyrinth.
Jailed for the Automatron’s amusement and bound by his electric force, you have to use the tools and tricks that the labyrinth is offering you to overcome it’s endless dangers. Instead of conflict only smart decisions and clever moves will allow you to escape.
Maze Machina combines a simple turn based swipe to move mechanic with a tile based item system that allows for endless combinations of tactical attack, defense and utility moves on a small 4x4 grid. Short game sessions allow for quick bursts of tense gameplay which you can hop in and out of at any point. In various modes and high score challenges you can measure your skill against other players.

Gutes Spiel, aber...
Das Spiel macht Spaß, aber mein IPad Air 2 wird ungewöhnlich warm. Auch der Stromverbrauch scheint zu steigen.

Glück und Taktik
Das Spiel präsentiert sich als ein Taktikpuzzler, hängt dann aber oft sehr am Glück. Spawnt der Schlüssel und Käse in der Nähe, kann man viel mehr Züge sparen und kommt weiter, manchmal spawnen aber auch Gegner auf dem Käse und die Runde ist ohne eigenen Fehler vorbei. Manchmal landet man auf dem Blitzfeld und der Zufall wählt als Ziel einen eingekesselten Gegner mit Spiegel - dann kann man nicht mehr gewinnen.
Nerviger ist aber, dass man schnell aus Versehen seinen Tod auslöst. Gerade wenn man schnell spielt (die Zeit wird ja in der Bestenliste mitgewertet) dann zieht man manchmal schon obwohl die animation von vorne nicht fertig ist, nix passiert, man zieht noch mal und sofort geht’s weiter, gerne in den Tod. ich würde mir eine bestätigung wünschen, wenn ich in den Tod ziehe, denn meistens passiert mir das als unabsichtliche Eingabe oder aus fehlender Übersicht, und das frustriert. Zu oft fühlt sich das Ableben an als hätte man Pech gehabt und nicht als hat man keinen skill.
Ein toller Puzzler!
Ich finde dieses Spiel gelungen.
Im Trailer sieht man bereits viel von dem Spiel. Die Spielmodi sind auch gut durchdacht. Mir macht das Spiel sehr viel Spaß. Selten habe ich einen Puzzler gespielt der mich so in sein Bann gezogen hat.
Ich wünsche mir das die Entwickler weiter an diesem Spiel arbeiten und es verbessern.
