MPDluxe is a remote controller for MPD, an open-source networked music playing system which can run on a variety of UNIX- and Linux-based systems. MPDluxe allows you to browse the music collection and saved playlists on the MPD server, play, pause and skip tracks, add tracks to and edit the current playlist, search the MPD database and control the playback mode. MPDluxe can handle music collections of any size, and is ready to work as soon as it connects to the MPD server.

Licht und Schatten

Die App läuft ziemlich stabil, hat aber eine etwas gewöhnungsbedürftige Oberfläche, speziell bei den Playlists. Einmal vertippt und sie ist weg und kann auch nur lokal gespeichert werden. Es gibt keine Mehrfach Connections, sprich bei einem Wechsel des Mod Servers muss die Ip geändert werden. Aber im Großen und Ganzen funktioniert alles und mit den Unzulänglichkeiten kann man leben. Im übrigen könnte der Entwickler dafür gerne auch 5,- € verlangen. Die würde ich gerne bezahlen.

Very nice App

The app is very nice, but when I want to add a complete saved playlist to the currently playing songs, it doesn't work. Maybe its my failure, but I think there is no button to add a saved playlist to the currently playing songs. Maybe you can help me.

Unausgereift / unfinished

Die App ist noch sehr fehlerbehaftet. Es ist z.B. nicht möglich, die Songs in einer gespeicherten Playlist abzuspielen, ohne jeden einzelnen explizit anzutippen - sehr nervend.
Auch sind die Bedienelemente so dicht angeordnet, dass es schwer ist sie zu treffen.
Der Entwickler hat leider keine E-Mail Adresse oder andere Möglichkeiten für Support-Anfragen angegeben.

The app is still very faulty. It is e.g. not possible to play the songs in a saved playlist without explicitly typing each one - very annoying.
Also, the controls are arranged so tightly that it is difficult to hit them.
Unfortunately, the developer did not provide an e-mail address or other support request options.
