Thank you guys, that's quite a good tool to stay connected with my beloved SA!
On iPad not usable anymore
I read News24 predominantly on my iPad. Since the last update it’s basically not really usable for me anymore. I like to read it in landscape mode but now only portrait is possible. I hate it to have to turn around the pad from one app to the other. I can also see only the headlines and no photos before going to one article. On the iPhone the photos are visible.
I don’t like the new app at all. If it wasn’t the best source for South African news I found so far I would delete it.

Sorry to hear about your frustration. You can use the landscape mode, if you start the app in that mode. We will be working on improving the iPad experience going forward.

Clunky app
The UI is not appealing and remains buggy, as adverts compete for exposure and the screen regularly tries to update itself to update new push ads. Seldom that the ‘view’ remains stable. Potentially not a bad app in terms of general layout, just remains unpolished.
