OmniPlan 4.8 for Mac introduces a new app icon and support for Omni Automation "Install Links." Requires macOS 12 Monterey.
• App Icon: New app icon.
• Omni Automation [Pro]: Omni Automation now supports “Install Links” for simplified Omni Automation plug-in installation.
• Export: Projects which contain zero-length time off values now export successfully.
• Gantt: Dragging to resize Gantt date headers is now more reliable on macOS Sonoma.
• Network View: Fixed a bug that could cause some projects to encounter a layout error.
• Stability: Fixed a crash that could occur downloading a synced project with an unexpected value in changelog.
• Styles: Fixed a bug that could cause incomplete groups to be styled as completed.
• Licensing: Fixed an issue with subscriptions sometimes triggering a "Re-authenticate with (null)" prompt around renewal time.

Outline view has much room for improvement
The Outlining functionality is welcome but currently barely works. There has to be a simpler way to indent/outdent/drag and drop tasks to build a hierarchy than that dragging that never indicated on which level and where a task will be dropped. In view of this , why is it not at least possible to move tasks selected via the “select” button (“move” is greyed out/ inactive), while this works perfectly in the gantt view? Also please remove the silly distracting animations - why does a subtask jump from the bottom up to its parent task across the whole screen height upon expanding that parent task?
Funktionen
Ich versuche von Zeit zu Zeit -also immer mal wieder- alte Programme mit alten Rezensionen aus, um hier eine ausgewogenen Meinungsäußerung zu geben.
gerade nutze ich erneut Omniplan.
Dabei frage ich mich: "bin ich an dem Programm gewachsen, oder hat sich das Programm gebessert."
Es hilft mir meinen Unterricht und alle zugehörigen Projekte zu strukturieren, und zu verwalten.
Das Konzept zwischen free Standart Pro finde ich sehr ausgewogen. Ungeachtet dessen, dass 400,- für eine Pro-Version wirklich viel ist. mag ich das Arbeiten mit dem Programm.
Winzige Anmerkung für die Entwickler:
Die Gantt-Darstellung benötigt ein Padding
(in die Zukunft 1 Tag/Woche/Quartal/Monat und nach untern 30 Umbrüche)
da ich immer das Gefühl habe in einen zu kleinen Raum zu planen. so albern eine digitale Klaustrophobie klingt.

new features are not stable -> looking forward for new bug fix releases
I tried to create reoccuring tasks (more than 100x reoccure) and let shedule some regular tasks in between. This crashed in very simple project setups.
I tried to report the issue. My mail server rejected to send to a server that supports only TLS 1.0.
