The purpose of OneWaySync is to safely create mirrors of folders in a simple and quick way.
This tool will sync in only one way, this means the source directory will not be changed and only the destination directory will be affected.
By switching off the option "Delete on Destination" you can keep all files backed up even if it no longer exist on the source directory.
You can also choose whether or not to copy the hidden files and directories.

Eine wichtige Funktion bei solchen APPs ist die Prüfung, ob es Dateien bereits schon am Zielort gibt und ob diese überschrieben werden sollen, oder nicht. Bei großen Dateimengen ist diese Abfrage nicht nur sinnvoll, sondern aus meiner Sicht zwingend erforderlich, denn hier wird sonst viel Zeit verschwendet, da ja alle bereits vorhdenen Datein immer wieder erneut kopiert werden. Ich würde mcih sehr freuen, wenn der Programam-Author auch die Deutschen Kommentare liest.--------- An important function of such APPs is to check whether files already exist at the destination and whether or not they should be overwritten. In the case of large amounts of files, this query is not only useful, but from my point of view absolutely essential, because otherwise a lot of time is wasted here, since all the files that are already available are copied again and again. I would be very happy if the Programam author reads the German comments.

Ich habe mir die App gekauft, um meine „Fotos“ Bibliothek auf eine Synology Disk Station zu exportieren und durch Zugriff auf die Apps „Photo Station“ und "File Station“ mit iPad, iPhone alle in Apple Fotos bearbeiteten Bilder anzuschauen. Das funktioniert wirklich super. Anfänglich wurden nur immer meine Bilder auf der Disk Station gelöscht, wenn ich diese am Ziel verifizieren lassen wollte.Der Support hat mir dabei unermüdlich und super geholfen. Allein dafür schon volle Punktzahl. Danke und weiter so.

Während viele BackUp Programme teuer sind und viele Sync-Programme unübersichtlich ist dies ein wirklich tolles, leicht bedienbares kleines Programm zur Erstellung von BackUps zum Beispiel auf einer externen HD. Obwohl ich mir noch ein BackUp von Kalender- oder Kontaktdaten wünschen würde, kann man das Programm nur empfehlen.

Ich war bis jetzt immer super zufrieden mit dieser App. Da ich meine ganzen Volumes jetzt mit FileVault verschlüsselt habe, sagt mir die App ich soll den Destinationsordner noch mal in die App ziehen, dass sie darauf zugreifen kann. Wenn ich das mache bekomme ich wieder die selbe Meldung. In den Datenschutz-Einstellungen hat die App vollen Zugriff. Ich bitte um Hilfe, denn es wäre sehr schade wenn ich auf eine andere App umsteigen müsste....
