“Orphans” - An interactive horror mystery game
A group of friends sets out to an abandoned orphanage that is surrounded by dark rumors and tales to record more footage for their “Lost Places” channel. Once they get to the location, one of the group members finds your phone number and you become part of the group. Within minutes you're right in the middle of the action. Coincidence – or not?
What begins as a harmless excursion ends in a complete horror show. The mysterious fog thickens and the cameras start showing disturbing images. All communication to the outside world gets distorted and unreliable. Help the group find out what dark secrets are hidden behind these old walls. Is there maybe even a curse on this abandoned building? What really happened in this orphanage years ago?

Spannend
Ich bin noch ziemlich am Anfang des Spiels. Es ist aber schon sehr spannend. Bin gespannt was mich noch alles erwartet…
Gute Story - die unnötigerweise durch frustrierende Minispiele unterbrochen wird
Erst mal vorweg: die Story ist gut durchdacht und mache Spaß zu spielen. Manchmal verhalten sich die Chatpartner etwas seltsam. In keinem Chat, den ich jemals geführt habe, hat mein gegenüber Sätze wie: „ich… ich weiß auch nicht“ oder „man… also ich denke… also man sollte..“ Sowas findet in gesprochener Sprache statt, aber nicht in einem Chat. Davon abgesehen sind die Charaktere gut durchdacht und nett miteinander verwurzelt. Der große Knackpunkt des Spieles sind leider die Hack-Minigames. Langweilige Farbpunkträtsel, die leider die Story immer wieder unterbrechen und teilweise frustrierend sind. Man möchte nur die Geschichte weiter erfahren, wird jedoch gezwungen übertrieben lang auf das Auffüllen der Leben zu warten. Teilweise sind die Rätsel auch etwas unfair. Ich verstehe den Monetarisierungsapsekt. Ich verstehe, dass ein gutes Spiel sich bezahlt werden will. Aber doch dann bitte nicht so! Liebe Entwickler. Setzt einen festen Betrag für das Spiel an. Macht Episode 1 kostenlos und weitere Episoden kostenpflichtig. Aber lasst die Minigames weg. Die Leute werden es kaufen, weil die Spiele gut sind. Just my 2 Cents
So viel Mühe & tolles Spieleerlebnis
Ich bin von allen Spielen begeistert. Man entwickelt eine richtige Verbindung zu den Charakteren. Manchmal sind einige Dinge sehr offensichtlich dafür ist die Lösung dann umso überraschender. Die Spiele sind manchmal nervig - oft hängt es von Zufall der Steine/Farben ab - aber ansonsten wäre es auch langweilig;-)
Man merkt wieviel Arbeit und Mühe hinter diesen Projekten steckt. Kann es nur empfehlen 😊👌🏽
Das sich da manche aufregen, dass es mal länger dauert für eine Episode ist mir ein Rätsel. Gute Sachen brauchen eben ihre Zeit!
