Description
OsmAnd is an offline world map application based on OpenStreetMap (OSM), which allows you to navigate taking into account the preferred roads and vehicle dimensions. Plan routes based on inclines and record GPX tracks without an internet connection.
OsmAnd is an open source app. We do not collect user data and you decide what data the app will have access to.

Issues
Hallo zusammen, 2 Punkte die ich bemängeln möchte. 1. manchmal versucht die Navigation eine direkte imaginäre grade Linie/Straße zum Ziel zu nutzen und versucht plötzlich eine nicht vorhandene grade Straße zum Ziel anzufahren (da man diese natürlich ignorieren muss - weil keine da,) errechnet OsmAnd danach eine neue korrekte Route - Wenn man der Navigation nur zuhört (ohne Bildschirm) wird man leicht zum falschen Abbiegen geleitet ! 2. Eine Ausfahrt (Autobahn und KraftfahrtStraßen) wird immer mir "In xxx km/m leicht rechts abbiegen" angekündigt statt vernünftig auf eine Ausfahrt hinzuweisen zB "in xxx km/m die Ausfahrt Nr. yy benutzen" - das nervt wirklich. Ansonsten, nutze ich die App jetzt über 6 Monate und bin SEHR zufrieden - Mega Funktionsumfang !!

Erstaunlich gute App
Ich habe sehr lange nach einer App mit Offline-Karte und Offline-Navigation gesucht, die sich sowohl für tägliche Rad- oder Autofahrten als auch fürs Wandern einsetzen lässt. Mit dieser App bin ich endlich fündig geworden. Sie bietet alles, was das Herz begehrt und sogar noch mehr. Dabei kann alles präzise eingestellt und kontrolliert werden. Verglichen mit den ganzen anderen Apps ist sie sogar die günstigste. Kleine Bugs sind noch enthalten, allerdings traten diese nie im normalen Alltag auf. (Bei einer testweise simulierten Fahrradtour quer durch Deutschland mit knapp 1000 km Länge, die 600 km von meinem aktuellen Standort beginnt, brach die App irgendwann zusammen.)
Bin total begeistert! Die App hat definitiv mehr Aufmerksamkeit verdient. Absolut empfehlenswert!
Geht so
Die App ist als Alternative zu Google Maps ganz ok hat aber noch einiges an Verbesserungspotential. Die ganze Bedienung fühlt sich im Vergleich einfach nicht so geschmeidig an. ( z.B. Zwei mal tippen zum Zoomen oder gedrückt halten um einen Punkt zu markieren, ein Mal tippen um die Markierung wieder zu löschen). Die POI sind teilweise trotz OSM live stark veraltet und davon abgesehen sind im Vergleich auch nur sehr wenige POIs überhaupt enthalten. Die App interne Suchfunktion ist auch nicht gerade das gelbe vom ei. Wenn man also was sucht muss man trotzdem googeln und von dort die Adresse kopieren zum navigieren. Die Navigation ist dann wirklich die schlechteste die ich je erlebt habe. Nicht übertrieben! An einem Kreisverkehr der schon locker 20 Jahre unverändert existiert soll ich an der 4. Ausfahrt raus obwohl der Kreisverkehr nur 3 hat... vor dem Rechtsabbiegen kommt die Ansage links halten usw.
dann wären da noch die downloadfunktion der offline Karten. Statt dass es zb eine Liste gibt wo ich dann einfach nur die checkboxen der Karten, die ich haben will, aktivieren muss hat jedes einzelne Bundesland dann nochmal ein untermenü und man muss alles einzeln wählen. Von einer Funktion gleich die Karten für ganz Deitschland runterzuladen ganz zu schweigen.
