Compare two PDF documents - fast, incredibly easy and reliable! What exactly has changed, what is really the same? How often do you get back a document and are still uncertain about the changes? works good, workaround required for password protected pdfs

The diff view is really good and works as expected.When you want to compare multiple pdf'syou can do that via drag & drop with other pdf's.However, the comparison is not always updated.It works best when you close and reopenpdiff again and compare another pair of files.Update: With version 2.3.0 this works fine.Update: There is no way to integrate it with a version control system such as mercurial or git because pdiff-pdfsrv crashes with"Illegal instruction: 4"when invoked from command line and I had no success with PDiff Express 2 to take pdf files as arguments.It can open password protected pdfs (and asksfor the password to open it) but it does notperform the diff comparison at all.Workaround: Save the pdf in the printer dialogto remove the password protection and then use pdiff with unprotected pdf - works.Update: Not retested with version 2.3.0.

Even on pages that look 100% the same, the tool detects everything to be different. It’s completely useless for me. I feel cheated out of my money.

Even on pages that look 100% the same, the tool detects everything to be different. It’s completely useless for me. I feel cheated out of my money.
