ScamShield has been enhanced to offer you better protection against scams. Improvements include: - Checking for potential scams has been expanded to cover more channels, such as links, and messages received via WhatsApp or Telegram. - A redesigned home screen to indicate if the app has the permissions it needs to work correctly. - Better scam reporting, with support to upload screenshots and more intelligent detection of scam types.

You can now enjoy a smoother and more reliable App. Diagnostic Updates: We've enhanced our logging capabilities, allowing us to identify and resolve issues more efficiently.

Bug Fixes: 1. Phone Call Permissions Error: - Resolved an issue causing phone call permissions errors, ensuring "Call Blocking & Identification" can be enabled for the ScamShield App. 2. SMS Filtering: - Implemented a fix to prevent ScamShield App from incorrectly filtering OTP SMSes, ensuring users receive important authentication messages without disruption.

• Improved blocking of scams: SMSes from unknown SMS senders are now checked against a blacklist - if matched, the SMS will be moved to your Junk messages folder. We have also improved the machine learning algorithm* to detect phishing links in SMSes. • Recognition of trusted senders: We now prevent the blocking of SMSes from trusted senders that have been registered with local authorities through the SSIR list. • Improved reporting: We accept reports received from other platforms. You can now specify where you received the scam call or message in your report. SMSes detected as scam are automatically reported to the Singapore Police Force. Other changes: • Bugs fixes. • Updated Privacy Policy and FAQs. *Internet connection required.
