Sermable is an advanced public speaking app that helps users master their presentations step by step with the goal of feeling completely confident and well-prepared on presentation day. By combining spaced repetition, real-time speech tracking, and structured learning, Sermable transforms speech practice from stressful last-minute cramming into a systematic and scientifically optimized process.
The app begins with users uploading their speech by pasting or typing the text directly into the app. You can enter a title, specify a goal, or set a presentation date. This date becomes central to the learning process, as Sermable automatically adjusts the review schedule to ensure the speech is fully mastered exactly on time.
At the heart of Sermable is its adaptive learning system. The text is divided into smaller units called "beats," consisting of three sentences. These segments are gradually merged as users improve. Learning takes place sequentially with clear recall sessions: first after 10 minutes, then in the evening, the next morning, and thereafter at increasing intervals (2, 3, 5, and 7 days). The system uses an AI-based variant of the SM-2 algorithm to optimize review sessions according to spaced repetition principles. If a target date approaches, intervals are automatically compressed to ensure the speech is learned in time.
During practice, words gradually fade as users demonstrate mastery. Words causing hesitation or mistakes reappear for extra practice. Using real-time speech recognition, the app analyzes the user's voice and simultaneously highlights words pronounced correctly, words where the user hesitates, and words that are omitted entirely. After each session, users receive AI-generated feedback including accuracy percentage, identification of weak words, tempo analysis, and concrete coaching tips.
Sermable offers several training modes. In presentation mode, users can choose between freestyle mode without a script, full script mode (words fade out when pronounced correctly), and overview mode, where the focus is on key points rather than exact word choice.
The app is multilingual and supports English, Swedish, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian, with automatic speech language detection.
The premium version offers unlimited speeches, the ability to bypass practice locks, speeches up to 5,000 words, and advanced AI analysis.
