You can use it for...

This is car-sharing as you know it best: super short spontaneous trips for shopping, commuting and getting from A to B in your city. Find, reserve, and unlock SHARE NOW cars in less than two seconds. When you're done, simply park the car anywhere in the Home Area of your city. It’s as simple as that.

• WEEKEND ROAD TRIPS
Got plans? You can rent our free-floating cars at hourly rates. We also do medium-length road trips from just a single day to a whole weekend - get out into nature or visit your favourite shopping outlet. You’re in charge.

• WEEK-LONG CAR RENTAL
Car-sharing is also ideal for longer trips of up to 30 days for holiday travel. You can keep a car for yourself for longer (you pay per km) and take the stress of out renting a car. Sehr gutes Konzept

Ich wusste zwar von Car2go hatte aber nie die passende Möglichkeit um das mal zu testen bei meinem Trip durch Hamburg ergab sich dann doch mal die Möglichkeit. Das Konzept und die App sind einfach der Hammer wenn man von weit her kommt besucht man große Städte mit dem Zug oder man fliegt dort hin. Bedeutet man ist am Ankunftsort kein Stück flexibel natürlich fahren dort alle 5min Bahnen aber das ist auch nicht immer die beste Variante vor allem wenn mal Verbindung gesperrt sind. Genau hier kommt Car2go ins Spiel die App zeigt einem an in welchem Umkreis sich die Autos befinden hat man das nächste Auto lokalisiert reserviert man es. Sobald man das Auto gefunden hat kann man auch schon los fahren.
Es war eine gute Erfahrung und werde es bestimmt nicht das letzte mal machen.

Überzeugende App, übersichtliches GUI

Änfänglich war ich skeptisch ob das wirklich so einfach funktioniert wie in der Werbung dargestellt. Es ist kinderleicht und überzeugt mich und ich bin begeistert. Was ich mir wünschen würde, wäre das die App mir die Mögkichkeit einräumt, neue Mitglieder zu vermitteln, denn vielen Bekannten denen ich von car2go erzählt habe und es gezeigt habe wie kinderleicht es funktioniert, waren sehr interessiert. Die Provisions Freiminuten hätte ich natürlich gerne als Vermittler gehabt.
Die Schrift könnte etwas deutlicher, fetter sein, gerade für weitsichtige Menschen manchmal schwer zu lesen, wenn die Lesebrille nich parat ist.
Fazit: tolle app, gut programmiert, car2go ist definitiv empfehlenswert !

Führerscheinprüfung zeigt nur sehr zeitverzögert Updates

Habe die App lange genutzt und fand den Service super. Vor ein paar Wochen haben sie mir jedoch die Nachricht eingespielt, dass ich meinen Führerschein erneut validieren müsse. Die Funktion funktioniert jedoch nicht. Ich habe bereits etliche Male meinen Führerschein fotografiert und Fotos von mir gemacht. Nach dem gefühlt 100sten Mal habe ich dann einen Upload-Kreis als Feedback entdeckt. Der hat immer wieder abgebrochen. Doch selbst als er durch war, Dh einmal 100% war, springt es wieder auf die Anzeige, dass ich meinen Führerschein validieren soll. So ist die App und der Service nicht zu gebrauchen.

Update: scheinbar wird die Führerscheinprüfung nach den Hochladen doch durchgeführt, denn ich habe gerade eine Mail erhalten, dass geprüft wurde. Bitte, liebe Entwickler, führt eine Statusmeldung in die App ein, anhand derer ich sofort erkennen kann, was gerade passiert und nicht erst mit ewiger Verzögerung.
