Shared is a revolutionary app that lets you share music and podcast links with your friends with ease. With the Menu Bar icon, you can share links for music and podcasts that seamlessly open in Shared. From Shared, music can be opened in 11 different services and podcasts can be opened in 5.

Shared can also identify songs playing around you, even if it’s from another app on your device. You can conveniently open the identified song in the service of your choice.

When exploring a song, you can easily access additional information like lyrics with annotations on Genius and reviews on Musicboard.

To never miss out on something important, choose the “Remind Me” option from the more options menu while viewing content. Shared will send you a notification at the date and time of your choosing, ensuring you never forget to check it out.

When browsing the web using Safari, the Shared Safari Extension automatically opens links from supported services in Shared, streamlining your experience.

Shared’s integration with macOS means you can use Spotlight to search your history and use Siri, search, or the shortcuts app for quick actions.

This release includes a number of bug fixes and improvements to Shared, including:

• Search in Shared defaults to searching services if you don’t have any music or podcasts in your history.
• Minor UI enhancements:
• Adjusted some font weights.
• Adjusted the colors of the Grey widget tint in dark and light mode.
• Various changes to the cards shown in the onboarding and Shared+ screens.
• Aligned the appearance of the toggles and pickers on macOS with iOS.
• Added more subscription info to the Shared+ header.
• Minor bug fixes:
• Adjusted the spacing around the filter chips when searching services with an empty history.
• Shared could incorrectly fail to find matches for music across services.
• Choosing “Remind Me” while searching your history could remind you of the incorrect item.
• Clicking artwork while searching your history could open the incorrect item.
