The Stroop effect is a phenomenon that happens when you have to say the color of a word however, not the name of the word. Such as, the word “green” may be printed out in yellow ink. Therefore, in this example, you need to say the coloration (yellow) instead of the actual word green. Although it may appear straightforward, it is much more difficult than you might think.
