iPhone
A professional magician's utility for entertainment purposes only.
MagiCalc looks and behaves exactly like the iPhone's calculator, with one secret: any expression consisting only of additions always evaluates to 1,024 when = is pressed. Your spectator can add any numbers they like, birthdays, phone digits, "random" amounts — and the total is always 1,024. Any expression containing subtraction, multiplication, or division computes honestly, so the calculator survives casual inspection and real math.
That makes 1,024 a "force": you predict it in a sealed envelope, reveal it as a page number, a locker combination, a Wi-Fi password — the routine is yours.
The force number is configurable.
THE SUPERPOWER: NO INSTALL, ANY IPHONE
You don't need your phone — or theirs to have anything installed. Tap one of your NFC tags to any iPhone (XS or later) and an App Clip of this calculator opens in seconds. No App Store visit, no account, nothing left behind. The full app includes a built-in NFC tag writer, so you can prepare tags yourself: stick one under a table, inside a book, behind a business card.
WHAT IT IS
• Pixel-faithful iOS-style expression calculator
• Addition-only expressions force to 1,024 — everything else is honest
• Instant App Clip launch from NFC tags on borrowed phones
• Built-in NFC tag writer
• Works fully offline, collects zero data
WHAT IT ISN'T
A calculator for real arithmetic involving only addition. That's the trick. If you want honest sums, use the built-in Calculator app.
For performers, mentalists, and anyone who wants to hand a spectator a calculator and already know the answer.
