Description
Désiré is a poetic point-and-click adventure game in black and white.
When the schoolteacher asks Désiré why he didn't draw the sun like the other pupils, he replies spontaneously: « It's always night in my head. »
Désiré is colour-blind from birth and he will lead you into in world of black and white. He marches on hesitantly, as life never brought him much joy. From a tender age, he is going to meet several characters who will elicit in Désiré intense emotions and alter his vision in surprising ways. Is colour at the end of the road?
The game is, at its core, a critique of the modern world and of the perverting nature of a consumer, profit-obsessed society.
The game contains 4 chapters, 50+ scenes, 40+ characters and a lot of riddles.

The beauty of life
HI. I have to compliment you on this fine Piece of work.
The game is hard. In many ways as a player, you have to think out of the box, which is good learning..
I found many of lifes different layers, of being a person, in it. Stages we all undergo. Subjects and tabus we do not talk about much, like bulling, loneliness, lazyness, greed, mis-use of power, submission, sadomasocisem, childabuse, mis-trust, theft, homofobia, workobsession, prostetusion, sexaddiction. Many layers of how to be a person, different in different sircumstanses we are given, or are the direct sircumstans of. The many tabus presentet, opens up to discussion. And that bringes ( white) light on the tabu and offers a way out of the blackness. Out in the light, is the only place we can work, with our traumas to make them undone.
The Black and White stage is a survival mode, selfcentered. A World of colour is a stage where humans meet their spirit. See connection with all others and the need to think WE, and not I. Unselfish. More holistic.
Jesus was a surprise...and not. He is an ordenary man and truely a symbol of what we can achive if we Walk the stairs of spirit, (human), and not of man (animal survival ).
Mabye people will not understand this story yet, but they will later in life, as it takes a mountain of life to understand our individual purpose in life.
Or not... We all have a choise to make. We all have free will to chose which way to go...
I end this game with the feeling of love. Thank you for a game full of beauty and opposit, in many ways and many layers.
I would have never have expected that a game would have taken me with ore.
