The only reason one would ever download YouTube music or any music app at all would be to be able to play music while the screen was locked. It's SUCH an unnecessary paywall. So clearly a deliberate way to keep the app free on the store and 'force' people to pay up. If I wanted to play YouTube music with my screen unlocked, I'd use the YouTube app. There is no reason to choose YouTube music over anything else when looking for free music. On the contrary, even the horrendous Spotify free plan is better.

Vi har premium kan en fortælle hvorfor det ikke virker .Vi har google home og assistent køkken og stue men lige meget hvad vi gør kommer vi ikke ind på playlisten eller kan høre det musik vi vil .Vi har forsøgt at høre vores kim Larsen ,og får af vide at det kun er premium som kan høre musik og min playliste .I stedet får vi bare reklamer og andet musik vi ikke har bedt om .Så være lige sød og hjælpe til så det går i orden igen .De er sgu dyre nok de assistenter og premium Med venlig hilsen Liselotte Heuser

Honestly in my opinion this was the best music app superior to spotify etc. It has remixes and every album which is why i used this app. But now after youtube refuses to pay their artists a fair wage and pretty much every song worth listening to is removed i dont see why i need to pay 25$. Sucks it has to be this way youtube - you had a good thing going but then greed came. What a shame.
