Pure Acid is a top quality bassline synthesizer and drum machine in one app! Inspired by classic hardware bassline synthesizers and rhythm machines, which changed musical world back in 80's, like the legendary TB-303 synthesizer, TR-808 / 707 / 909 rhythm boxes and their numerous replicas, Pure Acid is designed to bring back the feeling of retro analog gear in every detail in terms of sound, as well as to provide new functions previously unavailable in the original devices to make your music creation workflow fast and fun! You can use Pure Acid app as a ready-to-go realtime musical instrument (groove box) in your jam sessions together with Ableton Link to synchronize it with the rest of your music gear. Its bassline editing system and randomization options will be handy to create unique groovy basslines easily. Realtime master effects with XY-pad controls can add expression to your live performance. You can also use Pure Acid with AudioBus, AUM or other IAA-supporting apps to create complex and interesting sound setups.

I remembered when Rebirth came out back in the late 90th and again when it was released for Ipad. That was huge and it was a sad day when propellerheads had to discontinue that great software due to a legal beef with Roland. The day i found Pure Acid was pure joy and i enjoy it more and more every time i use it. The baseline sounds awesome. If you are not a 303 guy (well we can’t all be) the drum machine is one of my favorite analog style drum machines on IOS. I know that not everyone will agree with me on this matter. But once you get to know it, it absolutly kicks a….. im having so much fun live jamming on the fly with Pure Acid.

I see no options for creating a new track. And the drum machine makes no sense at all. Sequencer is awful. Waste of money.
- fixed: drum solo/mutes were ignored when triggering drums from Midi Input, both standalone app and AVu3;
- fixed: UI graphics bug, appeared on iPad mini (standalone app);
- app age ratings info has been updated as required by the App Store;
- minor bug fixes.
