Sick and tire of subscription software.
Choedron
I am done with subscription software. I find alternaives if an app demands a subsdcription to be able to continue to use it.Software companies are basicly taking one's creations hostage by the subscription. If one wants to read an old file, which was created several years ago, you can not read it without a current subscription. So you have to pay for seeing your old files. This imbecile arrogant phenomena is spreading like a wildfire among software developers. I do not mind paying for an app and even an upgrade. But I will not have my files taken hostage by the subscription trap. Software developers have no rights to lock down others intellectual property in this way. It is almost equal to randsome ware. It is unethical.
Getting worse

I have used Evernote as a Premium user for many years, but at the end of this subscription period I am quitting. The app has become more and more bloated over the last years, and consequently slower and more buggy. Often login does not work (and in order to contact Customer Service about this problem, you have to log in !).With almost 100,000 notes stored, I have now have the monumental task of exporting them (which Evernote is not very good at) and migrate to antoher platform. Not looking forward to that, but I have no option.Too bad. Evernot was a good program, before the developers starting putting tasks, calendars and other stuff that nobody uses in the app.

Features:
- You can now add and manage AI Assistant memories to personalize responses.
- You can now upload and play .ogg and .opus audio files.
- Pinned tabs can now be reordered by drag-and-drop.
- Navigate to Home, Tasks, Calendar, and more directly from the Search modal.
Fixes:
- Fixed a bug where the AI Assistant moved only the last note instead of all selected notes.
- Fixed a bug where F2 rename shortcut stopped working after opening multiple tabs.
- Fixed various translation inconsistencies.
