• Scanning is now much more stable on large photo libraries, including when the app is in the background. • Additional performance improvements and minor fixes.

Send your people to Apple Photos • Create a matching album in Photos for any person or pet, one tap from their profile. • Picking someone unnamed? Name them first and the album is created right away. • Bulk export from the People screen: a separate album for everyone you select, in one go. • Smart adding: if the album already exists, only new photos are added, no duplicates. Everything stays on your device and private, as always.

• A new bottom bar, and one place to search people, groups, objects and photo text. • Big libraries scan without freezing, and adding photos no longer re-scans everything. • Searching photos by meaning is now off by default for lighter scans — turn it on in Settings › Search. • Move a person straight from one group into another.

Thanks to your feedback, our second update in a week is here: • Find Duplicates, upgraded: see how much space you'll free up, and hide instead of delete if you prefer • Much faster on large libraries: smoother scanning and Relationship Network, freezes fixed, and the screen stays awake while scanning • Help & Feedback: FAQ, Report Bug and Request Feature — now right inside the app • Photo access is now requested only when you start scanning; photos deleted outside the app are cleaned up automatically • Even better: instant launch, accessibility and copy improvements, stability fixes Have an idea or an issue? Thanks to everyone who downloaded FaceIdent! Our first update is a big one: • People Groups: build your own collections like Friends and Family • Find Duplicates: clean up identical photos and free up space • Relationship Network (beta): everyone in one interactive graph — see who's with whom at a glance • Multi-Select: share, favourite, hide or delete photos in bulk • Even better: names now stick after every scan, faster launch, and iOS 17 support Have an idea or an issue? Reach us from Settings — your feedback shapes the app.
