**Hermes can call you!** This is a big one. Your AI assistant can now ring your iPhone or Apple Watch when you ask it to follow up, finish a task, or get your input. Answer and talk to Hermes naturally, including responding to questions and approval requests. You decide what deserves a call, with a notification-only option if you prefer. **What's new:** - **Apple Watch voice:** Talk to Hermes right from your wrist with Gemini Live, GPT-Live, or Grok Live. - **Ask Hermes About Screen:** Use Siri, Shortcuts, or the Action Button to capture your screen and ask Hermes about what you're looking at. - **Smarter voice conversations:** Confirm tasks before sending them to Hermes, provide follow-ups while jobs are running, and enjoy continuous listening in Classic Voice. - **Better chat organization:** New Unread, Working, Needs Input, and Cron filters make it easier to find what matters. - **More ways to interact:** Take photos directly in chat, attach more file types, react to replies, play audio inline, and view diagrams and formulas without extra taps. - **Privacy improvements:** End-to-end encrypted notifications keep your notification content protected. - **More languages:** Conduit is now available in 14 languages. - **Improved CarPlay:** A redesigned voice-first experience with better navigation, chat selection, and status indicators. This is a big one. • Live Voice has been extensively expanded, including a new call screen, minimized calls, improved conversation continuity, saved-call resume, better job handling, and richer results including charts, tables and images. • Added Grok Live alongside Gemini Live and GPT-Live. • Live Voice can now stay attached to the chat or Bot Chat it was started from, receive typed context while you’re talking, and link background jobs and their results back to the call. • Hands-free voice is much more capable: wake phrases now work across voice modes while Conduit is open, Siri can start Voice on a named profile, and spoken goodbye handling is more reliable. • CarPlay received a major upgrade with chat selection, voice and profile controls, jobs, shortcuts, mute, New Chat, audio cues, and improved standalone launching and recovery. • Classic Voice can now keep listening while locked, steer Hermes while it’s thinking, interrupt spoken replies naturally, and optionally use echo cancellation so you can talk over Hermes on the speaker. • Read Aloud now supports playback speed, long responses, background playback, and lock-screen/headset controls. • The composer has been rebuilt with quick dictation, improved attachments and previews, multiple file selection, video support, a full-screen editor for long drafts, and quoting of messages or selected text. • Bots can now be created, edited and deleted directly from Conduit, including custom avatars. Conversations can also be moved between projects, with improved project menus and pinned chats. • Added support for custom HTTP headers for reverse proxies and improved Cloudflare Access compatibility for voice and Kanban live updates. • Improved notification compatibility reporting, error messages, answered clarification cards, chat scrolling, voice reconnection, call resuming, and general stability throughout the app. And a lot of smaller fixes and polish across chat, voice, projects, CarPlay and accessibility.

Real-time voice, two ways Voice conversations got a full rebuild — plus two new real-time engines. Gemini Live (Google) and GPT-Live (ChatGPT) both stream natural back-and-forth speech instead of the old speak–wait–reply flow: echo cancellation so the assistant won't talk over you, listening with the screen locked, hands-free ending, a clear "Ending" state, and a voice picker for each engine. Take either engine in the car with CarPlay, start a session from Siri, and keep the screen awake hands-free. The assistant draws on your host's memory, searches the web through your Hermes host, and explains connection or quota problems instead of silently retrying. Voice can also run Hermes background jobs entirely hands-free — start, list, and cancel — with results folded back into the conversation. Runs on the Hermes Conduit Notifier plugin (the same one that handles your notifications and approval cards — just update it). The classic voice mode remains available. Classic voice, upgraded too The original voice mode got its own round: adaptive speech detection with a live microphone meter, no more playback feeding back into barge-in, spoken Stop and End Conversation controls, automatic relisten after a spoken reply, custom TTS endpoint settings, and far more reliable engine starts. Voice now suspends gracefully in the background and picks up where you left off instead of shutting down. Bots and hosted group chats Hermes Bot Mode arrives: add bots to hosted group chats, mention anyone with @, and see who's responding in real time. Room messages survive leaving and rejoining, and Bot Chat notifications stay attached to the right conversation — including turns that finish in the background. Chats that stay fast and never lose your place Chat scrolling was rebuilt so the conversation only moves when it should — no layout freezes, no position jumps on open or send, no stalls from cache work in very long chats, and no crash when backgrounding mid-write. Offline or reconnecting? Recent chats open instantly with a read-only saved copy. Tap any photo or file for a full-screen viewer with save and share. Long-running sessions compress themselves so old conversations stay responsive, and skill slash commands work again. Connections, accounts, and safety Switch between multiple Hermes servers with scoped credentials, sign in with native Google sign-in, and rely on conversations, tool activity, and approvals recovering cleanly after a full app reopen. Sensitive prompts — sudo, secrets, vault unlocks — now arrive as masked input cards, approvals reliably reach the app over push, and a new toggle controls approval and input sounds.
