DogActivity shows off-leash areas, dog meadows, dog zones and dog beaches across Europe – over 155,000 places in 43 countries on one map, many with an outline, all with distance and description.
The app answers seven questions:
• Where can my dog run free? Off-leash areas and dog beaches
• What can we do? Dog clubs, dog schools, training grounds
• Where do I find help? Vets, shelters, boarding and day care
• Where are we welcome? Hotels, campsites, cafés and restaurants that allow dogs
• What are the rules here? Leash requirements, breeding season, breed lists and proof of competence for 93 regions – every state, every canton, every country
• Am I prepared? Practise the competence test – 200 of our own questions in five areas, every answer explained
• What do I do in an emergency? First aid in four steps – and the nearest vet with a number, those open around the clock first
Plus waste bag dispensers, water points, official leash and no-dog zones, and wildlife sanctuaries.
• A map with its own clustering – smooth even at 155,000 places
• Filter menu from the right: all twelve types at a glance, each with the number in the current map view
• Search by town, district or name; places and areas near you

Ten languages: the app now speaks English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Polish, Czech, Danish and Swedish. Place names appear in the local language.
“What are the rules here?” for 93 regions: leash requirements, breeding season, breed lists and proof of competence – for every state, every canton and every country, in English, German and the local language.
A new filter menu: swipe from the right edge or tap the button, and all twelve types are listed one below the other — each with the number in the current map view. “None in view” saves you turning something on for nothing.
Plus a place list with 11,285 entries instead of 283, using real town centres, and 324 dog beaches instead of 287.
