A generative MIDI step sequencer for iPad. Generate rhythmic patterns, keep the parts you like, regenerate the rest, perform them live with pattern switching, scenes, fills and mutation. Designed for quick, unlimited ideas and endless jamming sessions. Features • Generate drum and melodic patterns with adjustable genre, density and intensity • Lock individual tracks while regenerating the rest • 12 patterns across 3 scenes with beat-synchronised switching • Three mutation modes: one-shot, hold-to-mutate and automatic evolution • Per-step velocity, probability, offset, gate and ratchet • Independent lane length and step size for polymetric sequences • Fill, mute-all and four performance mute groups • Mixer with per-track volume, mute and solo • GM drum mapping and scale-aware melodic keyboard • MIDI Learn for patterns, scenes, fills, mutes and mutation controls • Runs as an AUv3 MIDI effect in Logic Pro, AUM, Cubasis, Loopy Pro and other compatible hosts, or as a standalone app Compatibility mSteps requires an AUv3-compatible host for plugin functionality. Also, mSteps is a MIDI-only plugin. It does not generate sound on its own.
