This release adds support for indexing and searching handwritten documents. The calendar has also been expanded, allowing you to create events with or without assigning them to a document. Settings now include controls to turn OCR and document enhancement services on or off, as well as options for selecting the ink colour used for scanned documents. We have also updated scanning, attaching documents, Academic Notes, Professional Notes, Personal Notes and note search to work with optical character recognition (OCR). We have continued to enhance the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) notecard batch generator.

This version includes further enhancements to the flashcard generation service.

This version introduces new custom badges and logos for a fresh, updated look. We have added an assignment reminder system that continues to work even when the app is closed. A custom calendar is now included, making it easier to view, track and manage your reminders. The Existing Documents workflow has also been expanded, allowing users to create reminders and generate flashcard batches directly from their saved documents. We have also added a timed flashcard review system, with adjustable response times for each card.

StudyHQ continues to expand its scan-to-PDF and note-taking ecosystem with notebook-style tools and stylus support for class, professional and personal notes. This update adds Take Notes, giving users a simple way to create Academic, Professional or Personal notes directly inside StudyHQ. Notes can include styled paper layouts, page support, maths and writing symbols, and automatic saving while you work. Saved notes are rendered into polished document pages so they can be secured, reviewed and organised alongside scanned documents. Document search has been improved with new filtering options, making it easier to find the files you need.

Refined the main menu with a cleaner white glow effect, giving the StudyHQ main page the feel of a polished document scanning workspace.

Updated StudyHQ with a more vibrant colour scheme for a cleaner, more polished experience on select screens. Updated the export workflow so every active plan includes access to export documents as PDF files for as long as the user’s plan remains active.

The View Documents screen now performs an additional Face ID check (when enabled) before searching existing documents.
