Great, but...

I've been using this app through the previous 3 updates and overall been quite satisfied. In my oppinion the most appealing UI of all the RSS readers out there for mac. But, the new update for some reason thinks that it somehow needs to gobble up all my CPU and relies heavily on the GPU as well, which I just don't find acceptible for an app in that price range. I know I probably could download some software to bypass the the activation of the graphics card, but I simply cannot be bothered. If it was Flipboard for mac, then maybe. But not this one.

Super

Brilliant

I bought the app despite a comment on CPU-usage. I have had no problems whatsoever in this regard. Pulp uses practically no resources. In daily usage this is an outstanding RSS reader. The overview of news it builds for you is really really good and interface/usage is a bliss. It syncs well with the Ipad counterpart and can be customized to a reasonable extend. I would wish for the ability to write a headline for each column. As it is I can write a headline for each tab, but each tab consist of a customizable number of columns that I cannot give a headline. I like to have a tab for themes in the news and then gather newsfeeds on each theme (e.g. US election 2012) in one column. Thus I end up with a number of columns, neatly orginized in a single tab, that keeps me up to date on the themes I follow. But I do miss those headlines in each column. This is minor complaints, though, as this app has a very "apple" feel to it. The essentials and user-experience work so well, that even basic complaints (like these adjustment issues surely are) seem to dwindle in my mind as I use the app. It just works and layout, overview, reading-experience makes it possible to easily follow and assimilate a forest of feeds without strain.Requests:* Ability to scrape a website and essentially build a rss feed (like feedity)* Ability to remove ad-tekst from non-free rss builders, like feedity* Control over vertical ordering in columns. I want to determine what feed get's top position. Or at the very least know what determines it.* I would like to be able to customize how quickly the feeds are being checked as well as have som control over wheter or not read articles are visible or not.* Headlines over each columnIn sum, apart from minor quibs, great, great app. Keep it up! I will recommend it!
