Owning a fund is the first step into the investment world. The fund then owns individual shares, and the manager will vote on your behalf. Shares give you more than just financial gain – you also get direct voting rights in the company you invest in. If you own a significant share, you can even get a seat on the board and help shape the company's future. By starting with a fund, you take your first step into the investment world.
