**Index Fossil Notes** is a bilingual (中文 / English) reference app for geology enthusiasts, students, and educators. It puts the "time ruler of rock layers" — index fossils — in your pocket:
- **Systematic notes on 68 classic index-fossil genera**, spanning the Cambrian through the Neogene — from trilobites, graptolites, and fusulinids to ammonites and foraminifera — tracing the whole timeline of life's evolution.
- **39 high-precision 3D models**: rotate, zoom, and inspect the parts of each specimen, turning flat textbook images into tangible 3D objects.
- Every genus is annotated with its **age range, stratigraphic value, diagnostic features, and global distribution**, with references and provenance.
- **Fully licensed models**: every 3D model comes from academic institutions and openly licensed sources (CC0 / CC-BY), safe for study and teaching.
- **Bilingual**: switch between Simplified Chinese and English with one tap, fully offline — consult it anytime, even in the field.
Whether you're preparing for a geology exam, writing popular-science articles, or simply moved by life from hundreds of millions of years ago, Index Fossil Notes gives you a reliable "biological clock.
