ARChem

Learning chemistry with AR

Free · Designed for iPad

Learn chemistry with augmented reality. Learning Chemistry from a book or screen can be tough; how do you imagine a 3D molecule from a 2D picture? Wouldn’t it be great if molecules could leap out of the page and into your living room? Or if reactions moved rather than stood still? Well with ARChem - they can! ARChem is a game that uses augmented reality (AR) to bring chemistry out of the screen. Built by academics it aims to help chemistry students understand important fundamental concepts in organic chemistry at the introductory undergraduate level. The topics covered include general organic chemistry, functioanal groups, stereocentres, reactions as well as fun facts and quizzes to test your knowledge.  As you progress you’ll earn medals; the higher your score, the better the medal. Can you get the crystal medal for the perfect score?
