eSarkar: Revolutionising Governance
The eSarkar, application is the flagship project of the Government of Gujarat aimed at transforming governance for the better. In the continuous pursuit of good governance, accountability, faster decision-making and transparency, eSarkar stands as a beacon of progress.
With eSarkar, the Government of Gujarat is leveraging the power of technology to bridge the gap between the government and the people. This innovative platform is designed to enhance citizen-government interaction, ensuring that citizens voices are heard, needs are met, and concerns are addressed promptly.
The eSarkar application aims for the following:
1. Digital Governance: It aims to eliminate tedious paperwork and long queues. eSarkar enables seamless digital interactions with government departments, making services more accessible and efficient.
2. Accountability: Through eSarkar, the government ensures accountability at every level. Transparent processes and tracking mechanisms empower government and citizens to monitor the progress of their initiatives and applications.
3. Faster Decision Making: Time is of the essence, and eSarkar recognises this. By streamlining workflows and implementing digital approval processes, eSarkar is ensuring quicker decisions on matters that affect citizens.
4. Transparency: Transparency is a cornerstone of democracy, and eSarkar embodies this principle. Government and citizens can access real-time information on pendency, budgets, and policies, fostering trust and understanding.
The eSarkar Mobile App allows viewing and tracking of Letters (e-Tappal), Files, Member of Parliament (MP) References, Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Reference, Legislative Assembly Questions (LAQ), Public Grievance, Government Resolutions. This allows users to quickly obtain information about the status of their requests, applications, files and grievances.
