Speaking Practice on phrases is now here! You can now speak phrases out loud and get instant AI feedback on your pronunciation and clarity. This makes it easier to build real-world confidence and focus on how the language actually sounds, not just how it’s written. Speaking practice is available directly on phrases, with an easy retry flow to help you improve naturally and keep progressing. We’ve also made performance improvements and minor bug fixes.

We’ve introduced Chat, a new way to practice real conversations with AI and improve your language skills faster. Chat lets you have natural, ongoing conversations where everything you write is analyzed in real time. You’ll receive instant feedback and corrections, helping you sound more natural and confident as you practice. With Chat, you can: • Practice real, open-ended conversations in your target language • Receive instant corrections and feedback on everything you say • Save corrections to review later and avoid repeating mistakes • Keep conversations going naturally — no dead ends or one-off replies • Build ongoing conversations, with the AI remembering context over time This makes Chat feel less like a test and more like a real conversation partner — designed to help you improve through meaningful practice.

Reading along just got better. Stories now highlight each sentence as it’s spoken and automatically scroll the text, so you can follow the audio naturally while you read. Plus, we’ve added performance and stability improvements.

This release brings two big improvements: Better support for right-to-left languages. Arabic and Hebrew text is now rendered in the correct direction throughout the app, including stories, speaking prompts, translations, examples, and saved items. Articles for saved words. In languages that use articles, if a word has an article it will now be automatically included when you save it.

This update introduces the new and improved Streak and XP system. Earn XP for every story you read, word you learn, and prompt you answer. Keep your streak alive, build momentum, and watch your progress compound as you stay consistent. We’ve also added Rapid Review - a fast way to refresh your saved vocabulary anytime.
