• COAPT Integration
Esper Hand is now compatible with COAPT — an external multi-sensor system that builds a personalized control model based on your unique muscle patterns. Once COAPT is fitted and your grips are calibrated in the COAPT apps, Esper+ reflects your configuration and lets you adjust the hand’s system settings in real time.
• New Onboarding & Better Connection
At first launch, Esper+ now guides you through revamped and expanded steps to prepare your hand for use and connection. Helpful articles appear along the way, and personalization steps shape the app around your setup. Bluetooth search and the regular connection flow have also been improved — for your better experience.
• Switch to Previous Grip via Hand Control Button
You can now assign a new action to the double-tap of the hand’s control button, next to the LED indicator: switch to the previous grip. This moves through your active Basic Kit in a counter-clockwise direction, giving you quicker access to the grip you need.
2.11.0 27/11/2025
• New Commands — More Actions: Unlock more ways to control your hand in Classic Pattern. In addition to recommended commands, you can now create your own by pairing a muscle signal with an action: Previous Grip, Most Recent Grip, or 1st Grip. You can also set the impulse for switching to Next Grip, choosing the one that works best for you.
• True Return to Factory Defaults — Collision Prevention Included: A factory reset now also clears Collision Prevention.
2.10.0 04/10/2025
• Import & Export Backups: Exchange backup files with your prosthetist or service support to fine-tune your setup together, or simply save and transfer your configuration between other devices. Send your current settings via email or your preferred messaging app, and apply any backup with a single tap — no manual adjustments needed.
2.9.0 08/08/2025
• Proportional Control: Move with your rhythm and strength — now Esper Hand responds proportionally to your muscle effort. Stronger signals drive faster, firmer motion; lighter touches flow gentle and slow. Fine-tune sensitivity and effort range for open/close alone or with grip switching to find your most comfortable control style. Power in your hands — shaping every motion.
2.8.0 07/07/2025
