GLOBE Data Entry

Education

Free

GLOBE’s Data Entry App allows you to enter GLOBE protocol data directly from your iOS device for any of GLOBE’s protocols. After an initial download of forms, you can record your measurements in the field, and then choose to send your data to GLOBE when you have an internet connection, or edit the data before you send it to GLOBE. The app streamlines some aspects of data entry, and allows you to use your phone’s camera and GPS to document your sites and measurements. This app is intended only for users who have an existing GLOBE account. New and interested users are encouraged to go to http://www.globe.gov to learn more.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. The latest version of the Data Entry app will allow you to create and edit your sites - even without an active internet connection. This version includes atmosphere, hydrology and land cover sites, as well as adding site photos.
