Great, but the browser PC version is better

The app is great, but there is one minus if you compare it to the browser-based version for computers. The minus is the lack (or unintuitive location) of one useful feature. In the computer version you can select any word in the translated text and replace it with a synonym. This feature is very handy and sets your service apart from the competition. Yes, you can select from different text variants in the app, but this only works with the translation of individual sentences. It would be great if you could add this feature to the app as well.

I have been looking for a Google Translate alternative for a very long time and with DeepL I feel that I have found not only a good alternative, but something that actually might be better. It has decent launguage selection for european user and the app is very simple and straightforward to use. At the same time all that is needed is there. If you want to enter text manually or from camera or pictures, you can do that with DeepL very efficiently and get an accurate translation. UI is not cluttered, clean and nice.

i’m not kidding you this is actually the coolest translator I’ve ever used, it works really well with long sentences that I usually use to translate my French homework, I love this translator very much and it saves me a bunch of time!!!!

I love the quality of DeepL, but the iOS/iPadOS app has become very unreliable lately. Frequently, when I type a word or sentence, a blue loading line appears at the top but the translation never actually loads. It stays stuck "thinking" indefinitely. I’ve tried restarting the app, but the issue persists across different sessions. Please fix this bug so the app is usable again!
