Fix on an error that was preventing from processing books scanned with the camera

Smarter scan covers When we can’t find an official cover, your photo is used instead. Cropping is improved so the book fills the frame and less desk or background shows through. Choose your language Set the app language in Profile → Language, or keep System to match your iPhone. Authors Search authors from Browse, open profiles reliably, and see country flags and cleaner bios (including bold text where available). Fixes & polish Author search navigation, profile details, and general stability improvements.

Smarter catalog & library - We’ve improved how books are stored and matched: multiple ISBNs can belong to one title, and duplicate catalog entries are merged so your library and recommendations stay cleaner. - Requesting a new book and adding from the catalog now go through the same reliable “upsert” flow on the server. Onboarding - After the intro, you can optionally pick from a mix of new catalog arrivals and highly rated books to seed your Want to read list—totally optional, one tap to skip. Librarius (AI) & recommendations - Recommended for you is simpler: Vibe now combines mood and “how you want to read” in one place, plus a new Genre row to narrow picks. - Behind the scenes, personalized recommendations can use your genre choices along with mood and intent for better-matched titles. Reading streak & reminders - Daily local reminders are built around your reading streak: they call out how many days you’re on and nudge you before you lose momentum—evening reminders skip automatically once you’ve logged reading for the day. Browse & covers - Browse surfaces are better wired for ISBNs where available, so cover loading and fallbacks work more consistently as you explore.

What’s New in this version: smarter social reading with challenge invites, trusted list collaboration, and faster list actions (swipe to edit/share/delete and move books to top). New engagement tools include Daily Pick streak tracking, reading session timers, and shareable weekly recap cards. We also improved reliability and UX with undo for destructive actions, better loading states, offline sync resilience, and unchanged explicit AI-consent privacy protections.
