Enhanced Sketching & Validation We’ve added smarter error handling to the sketch editor. The app now proactively validates surfaces to ensure you’re always working on a planar face, preventing geometry errors before they happen. We also added duplicate primitive validation to keep your sketches clean and organized. Optimized UI & Sharing We’ve refined our UI components across the board for a more consistent feel. Sharing your projects is now faster and more reliable, ensuring your designs get from your iPad to your slicer with fewer taps.

Expanded Design Tools We have introduced comprehensive support for Ellipses across the entire design suite. You can now create, mirror, and arrange ellipses in linear or circular patterns. The sketch editor has also been updated to include specific constraints for ellipse diameters, ensuring your shapes remain precise during adjustments. Improved Export Experience The 3D print and STL export process is now much more informative. A new progress modal and custom loading indicators keep you updated on the status of your file generation. We have also refined the export engine to provide higher detail and better mesh quality for complex solid geometries. Enhanced Sketching Precision Our sketching engine received a significant overhaul to handle complex shapes more reliably. This includes smarter "Equal" constraints that work across different shape types and improved touch controls to make selecting and dragging small points more fluid on mobile devices. Workflow and Safety To help protect your work, we added a confirmation dialog that appears if you attempt to discard unsaved changes in a sketch. Additionally, document loading and saving are now faster thanks to a more efficient background caching system. General Improvements This update also includes various refinements to the interface, such as updated icons for tool clarity and improved notification prompts for advanced features. We have also resolved several minor bugs to ensure a smoother, more stable design experience.

Part3D 2.1.6 SMARTER SKETCHING TOOLS We have introduced new constraints to give you more precision while drawing. You can now apply Tangent constraints to lines and circles, set Equal Radius for multiple arcs, and use Midpoint Snapping to find the exact center of any line. We also added a Merge Points tool to help you clean up overlapping geometry with a single tap. REDEFINE SKETCH PLANES Flexibility is key to great design. You can now move an existing sketch to a different face or plane without having to redraw it. This makes it much easier to adjust your model as your ideas evolve. IMPROVED ERROR DETECTION We have added a new alert icon to the history button that highlights exactly where a problem is occurring. If a Fillet, Shell, or Extrude fails, the app now provides clearer feedback so you can fix the issue and get back to creating. FILE COMPATIBILITY AND UI Support for importing .stp files is now available. The on-screen numpad now includes a toggle sign (+/-) button for faster value entry.
