What’s New in This Version Live tagging: Pause and Play now split the session into periods. Import one period at a time onto the video, with the playhead at the start of that period. Stream tagging: Choose a save folder before you record. Recordings go to Files → On My iPad → ProTag → Recordings by default, so the video is easy to find and copy. Nearby iPhone camera is more reliable, and you can review tags and scrub during the stream. Dual-camera tagging: Tags stay in time when you switch cameras, link or unlink videos, and merge existing tags from both angles. Automated playlists: Combine rules so a clip is added only when several things are true — for example an event plus an outcome, or two outcomes together. Works with CoachesFlow: Share teams and lineups (lines, fields, and bench) into player buttons. Tap All players on a player button to tag the whole group at once. Rename clips with ⌘R (name and color), or from the right-click menu. Press Return to play the next clip while reviewing in tagging. Video export: Optional notes on rendered clips, and you can render stream-tagged clips together with regular tagged video. Import live sessions in the Library, copy stream recordings and tags from iPad to Mac, and import playlists on Mac. Playlists: Sort by event, reorder clips inside a variable title slide, and drag multiple clips at once on iPad. The playlist column in tagging is faster and more stable. Settings: Clear leftover video to free iPad storage. Bug fixes, crash fixes, and performance improvements.

Video rendering from tags and playlists: choose 720p, 1080p, or original resolution, pick Standard or High quality, and keep working while exports run in a small progress window — including queued renders. Filter tags by variable events to find the clips you need faster. Support for multiple player buttons, so more players can be tagged in the same flow. Bug fixes and stability improvements.

This is a major ProTag Studio update — lots of new capability, a cleaner design, and a long list of fixes as we get ready for iOS 27. Stream recording Record a live stream, tag as you go, and save a proper video with your tags. Built for real sessions, not just a quick preview. Stream from iPhone Use a ProTag iPhone as a camera and send that feed into Stream Tagging on iPad or Mac. Tagging that stays out of the way Compact tag rows give you more list and less chrome. Panels are more reliable, and a variable event now runs one at a time so you don’t overlap starts and ends. Apple Watch Live tagging from the Watch is more dependable, with clearer controls and fewer missed taps. Statistics & presentation More statistic options for how you review a session. Title slides can minimize clips so the title is the focus. AI Assistant Ask ProTag for help in context — tagging, panels, and the rest of the workflow — without leaving the app. Plus many smaller design tweaks and stability fixes throughout. Thank you for using ProTag Studio.

New Presentation & Tagging Layouts: Enjoy a full-size video view while keeping critical UI elements clearly visible.
