Anghami: Play Music & Podcasts 4+

Great App, but..

1) When you download an album, it doesn’t show up as individual songs in your Downloads, under songs. You have to go to the Albums tab to find it. So if you shuffle your “Songs,” the items in that album won’t be played at all.

2) When you organise your songs alphabetically, the slider on the right freezes, so if you missed the letter that you want to find, you need to scroll up and down again to refresh the slider and start again. The slider also groups every 2 letters/characters together. I initially thought that it was because the items in each character are few (like the way Apple does it) but I have close to 2000 downloads, and it still has every 2 sequential characters group, which is highly impractical.

3) Anghami has a HUGE problem with attribution/mapping. On more than one occasion I found songs incorrectly attributed to an artist, either (A) One artist could just be featured on a song’s original artist, and the song will be attributed to the featured artist, when neither the song nor the overall album belongs to them, or more commonly (B) two separate artists could be similarly named and the song is attributed to the wrong artist, e.g. LEON (a male Asian artist/band) vs. LÉON (a female Swedish singer/songwriter)

Stop forcing anghami plus down our throat

Ive been using this app for almost 3 years now and have been subscribed to anghami plus for the past year, ever since my subscription ended ive been using the “free anghami” and ive noticed how almost everything isnt an option anymore, i cant listen to an album without them forcing a shuffle and playing similar songs (not the ones i chose), it’s almost as if they keep limiting the most mundane options like rewinding or even as simple as choosing which song to play in order for them to force you into a corner so you have no choice but to purchase anghami plus, it’s extremely frustrating and comes across as very desperate from the app to force its users into purchasing anghami plus. This application used to be a free music app with an option to subscribe to another feature that gives the user more options (like downloading songs etc.) but now the app has transformed into Anghami Plus, with very few limited free options. Very big disappointment from the app especially since its coming across as very money hungry.

Limitings

Well obviously the app is amazing.
You guys have two versions: the normal one and the “anghamy plus” one. But it is so frustrating that the “normal” version keep on limiting more features every now and then gradually! Like why! Okay we have no problems with ads and no rewinds nor lyrics and so on.. its okay.. if i needed these features id purchase the plus version.. but if i didnt need? Things get so much frustrating and leads us to go search for another app that doesn't limit its features every while more and more. Literally, LITERALLY, the only things i can do with the app right now is only searching for a song and playing it.. EVEN PLAYING MY OWN LIKED MUSIC OR SHUFFLING IS NOW LIMITED “music is being shuffled. Play it with the order you like by anghami plus”! Tf! Seriously!!
If you were aiming to make this app an unfree app why did you make a free version of it! The app became so provocative and hard done by..
It is supposed to be a free version with logical useable limited features, and all the extra, better , premium features be in the plus version for interested people to buy. Not by limiting more and more by time! You are making the free app dull, naive and silly!

RETURN THE FREE VERSION AS IT WAS! and stop exploiting people for loving the app!
