There is no way for users to block certain annoying elements on websites. -There is no way to add custom filters to this app. -There is no way to purchase this app permanently instead of having to pay a monthly subscription fee and I really don’t get how basic adblocker function like automatically updating its filters is limited to premium subscribers only as this turn the whole app completely useless in just few days when its filters aren’t updated with latest rules and many websites quickly resuming showing new ads and pop ups and anti adblocking banners & that is the main reason I no longer use this app on my iphone but I might rethink using it if someday its developers addressed these annoying issues.

To manually block specific elements and add custom filters, you need to enable the app first. This can be done in 'Settings app > Safari > Extensions' (iOS) or 'Safari > Settings... > Extensions' (macOS). Ads can only be blocked in the Safari browser, not in other apps. Use the website versions of apps within Safari for ad blocking.In regards to the monthly subscription, it supports the app's development and upkeep, ensuring that its filters stay updated with the latest rules and that new ads do not slip through. Regarding auto-updating of filters, even free users updates occur, just less frequently than premium users. I encourage you to give the latest version of the app another try, as many enhancements have been made. Remember to switch on the app in your Safari settings once installed. i was set the app icon on dark when it was free, and after some update i surprised that this option became just for premium subscribers. i just want the defult white and the dark icon to be for free version again please, i don’t say i want all of the icons free i just want the dark one, i know it’s a weird ask but i really want this dark icon again.Thank you.
