Upwork is just a sh**t platform! They suddenly suspend my account without telling me a clear reason!!!! And never reply my email! And when I call them , customer support is really very rude and arrogant people! Upwork is racist platform and despise us! Any freelancer could or will face this thing soon or later !

Suspended my account

I was an active freelancer on Upwork with a strong track record. Unfortunately, my account was suspended permanently because I uploaded a profile picture that did not meet their guidelines. While I respect platform policies, the issue could have been resolved with a warning or request to change the photo. Instead, they blocked my account without notice and withheld the funds I had earned.As a professional fitness trainer, I feel this action was unfair and extreme. I hope Upwork improves its process by warning users before taking such drastic measures.
Account verification delay and unclear support

I am experiencing a frustrating delay with my identity and location verification process. I have already submitted valid official documents issued by Brazilian authorities, yet my account remains restricted with no clear resolution.The process lacks transparency, and support guidance has not been helpful so far. As a freelancer trying to work and earn, this situation is seriously affecting my ability to use the platform.I hope Upwork improves its verification process and provides faster, clearer support for users in similar situations.
