PocketBook Reader was created by avid readers for avid readers, and that’s why it’s probably the best e-book reader app.
I’d just like to thank the devs for this amazing app, it has lots of options, no ads, and is absolutely great to use. I would recommend this app to anyone who wants an EPUB reader on IOS. I just want to suggest some minor tweaks: - The most important suggestion is a tutorial or further elaboration on how to add new books to the app. I didn’t use any of the cloud services at all to sync books, I just had EPUB books on my phone that I wanted to import to the app. I spent a long time (even uninstalled the app) before figuring out that I need to copy my EPUB books into the pocketbook folder on my device. Whenever I try to search for an import book option in the settings, I cannot find it at all. Either create a tutorial that makes it clear that you have to copy the books into the pocketbook folder, or just allow users to import books from the settings tab as well. My suggestion would lean towards making the tutorial, as it allows you to mass copy books into the app instead of importing one by one. But i just wanted to point this out because nowhere in the app does it elaborate that I need to copy books into the app folder in my files. It just mentions that the app scans your device for books and adds them but i thought that meant it scans your whole device. - You should give the option of having different background textures when reading. I prefer having a black background, but having a more grainy or textured black instead of just black or grey for the background is harder on the eyes. - When switching to different book themes in the appearance tab, if you choose a custom theme, and select whatever custom theme you want, the app automatically reverts to light mode. (even when i have manual night mode on in the settings) It forces me to go back to the app settings and re-enable night mode any time i change anything in my custom book theme. An easy fix would be to include a toggle for night mode inside the custom theme tab so the user can decide if they want to have this theme work with night mode or light mode. (The option for custom or a selection of background textures can be added here as well)

The app was semi perfect, I was about to fall in love with it then when I tried to use my Apple Pencil to write on the pdf I couldn’t, I don’t know if the feature is there and I can’t reach it .. but anyway please add the ability to add handwritten notes in it and preferably using only the pencil and not also our hands and make it easily editable like goodnotes for example , thanks a lot in advance

Make it easier to go to the second book without having to turn back and then opening. Something like a swipe option
