Drop tokens into a spinning cylindrical board and connect four to win. FourSpin takes the classic four-in-a-row formula and wraps it around a 3D cylinder, creating a fresh strategic challenge where the board has no edges.
The cylindrical twist changes everything. Rows wrap around seamlessly, so a sequence that starts on one side of the board can complete on the other. Every column connects to every other column. This opens up new lines of attack and makes defense harder to predict.
Rendered in full 3D with SceneKit, the game board feels like a real physical object. Tokens drop with realistic gravity, bounce on landing, and glow with subtle light effects. Swipe to rotate the cylinder and view the board from any angle. The camera responds with depth of field, ambient occlusion, and smooth motion.
Three ways to play:
Human vs Human — Challenge a friend on the same device. Take turns dropping tokens and see who adapts to the wraparound board first.
Human vs AI — Face off against a computer opponent with three difficulty levels. Easy mode plays casually. Medium mode blocks your winning moves and evaluates positions. Hard mode uses deep lookahead search to find the strongest play.
AI vs AI — Sit back and watch two AI opponents battle. Useful for studying strategy or just enjoying the spectacle.
