Leaning buildings are a common issue in urban street photography, especially when capturing rectilinear architecture from street level. Auto Align is designed to fix this distortion, restoring vertical alignment and delivering geometrically accurate cityscape compositions directly from your phone.
Using an improved perspective correction algorithm, Auto Align compensates for keystone distortion and converging verticals caused by wide-angle lenses and tilted angles. The enhanced vertical stretching adjustment ensures natural-looking results without unnatural elongation. No specialized equipment or manual editing is required.
Native HDR Support: Auto Align now fully preserves HDR gain maps, maintaining the stunning dynamic range and vivid colors of your HDR photos throughout the correction process.
Manual Fix gives you even more control. Fine-tune alignment by intuitively dragging guide lines, or instantly revert to automatic correction with a tap.
Choose your preferred output: filled edges, cropped correction, or raw adjustment without artificial fill. Instantly compare with the original, and save your result as a new image or overwrite the original while preserving metadata.
Auto Align works as an extension in the Photos app, allowing non-destructive, reversible edits directly from your image library.
Note: Auto Align is optimized for scenes featuring rectilinear architectural structures. Applying corrections to images without such features may cause unwanted distortion or poor results.
