HexaX is a pure vector arcade experience where the world rotates around you. Enemies and hazards advance through a glowing hexagonal tunnel, one segment at a time. Your ship never moves. Instead, you rotate the tunnel to line up shots, avoid danger, and survive.
The rules are simple. The challenge is not.
HexaX is designed as if it could have existed in the early 1980s: built around clear systems, readable motion, and skill-first arcade gameplay. There are no tutorials, no hidden mechanics, and no meta-progression. Everything you need to understand is visible on screen.
The tunnel is divided into six walls. Enemies approach from the distance. Walls become lethal terrain. Some threats test timing, others test prediction. Survival comes from understanding how everything moves and committing to the right decision at the right moment.
HexaX features a minimalist vector aesthetic inspired by classic arcade displays:
- Vector Display Mode — pure monochrome lines and high contrast
- CRT Mode — glowing color, bloom, and warmth
